Here’s the latest batch of keys a la my original key-making style:
Key 601 wasn’t showing up very well on the white background so I grabbed my notebook to use for a back drop. Bold back drop hey? It was difficult to get a clear shot of the one side – that’s a maple leaf in the centre of the key.
Very happy with how this key turned out – and not just the key – the picture too! Shiny & Romantic!
The earring in this key is a similar size and shape to the set of yellow earrings used in Key 602; only this Key 603 is made from an earring that was rusted and broken. The glass bits that were left on the one side were barely hanging on (they’re secure now thanks to the resin coating over them).
Key 604 is extra special. My husband’s co-worker found the fancy pin that’s on the bow of the one side and gave it to him to give to me. How great is that? Pretty great I say. I am very thankful for this gift. The shiny piece on the other side is a clasp from a dress that I bought second hand; I used the dress to line the back of a shadow box. The piece on the end of the blade of this key is an old Singer sewing machine attachment.
