There are some numbers that I give significance to – like 555 and 11:11. Despite my Catholic upbringing (and the Omen movies) I hadn’t thought about the potential significance of Key 666. A very fine and happy young man asked me if I’d make this key for him; he liked heavy metal he told me. I’m so glad he asked – making this key was a fun and satisfying experience!
The top of the key is made from a magnifying glass that my husband found. This glass has a leather case that fans out on either side. My beloved also found the crystal at the bottom of the key and the dragon wing on the one side. I found the pen holder on the other side and the smashed lighter top that’s on the end. We were together when we found the tire pressure gauge that the key is built on. The round metal saw blades came from a flea market. The snake on the one side is part of a ring that was gifted to me. The skull is from a piece of jewelry that I got at a garage sale. The gold bits are from a Value Village belt and the silver bits are from a bracelet.
