Groundwork and a Shot of the Shopping Cart
I don't have any finished keys this weekend. What I do have is a start on a bunch of keys. And not just metal ones, wooden ones too. Even though the wooden keys have a variety of colour to them I've decided to paint them once I get back home to my studio. Currently I'm at the lake enjoying the sunshine and making keys. Keys that need paint, resin, and a number to complete them. Also this week I bought some more supplies from the wonderful folks at the auction house. The best part of laying all this groundwork is that the folks at the auction house "ran a cart" to bring me the goods. That means they loaded up a shopping cart upstairs in their storage area and lowered it down on a chain to their main floor: I'm very happy that I was able to get some pictures of this. It wasn't quite as thrilling as the first time because it wasn't unexpected. Still, it's not every day that I witness a shopping cart delivery from the sky....pretty cool!
