Key 739 - 742 Let There Be [Better] Light

A few years ago I bought a light box so I could take clearer/better pictures of my small sculptures. The box  came with some fluorescent bulbs. Or maybe they are CFL bulbs. Maybe CFL and fluorescent are the same thing - I don't know. I just know that I do not like the look of those bulbs (like an intestine - ick!) or the quality of their light. For the past several weeks I've been thinking I should just change those ugly bulbs to the new fancy LED bulbs I got on sale at the Co-op last year (a box of 12 for under $20 or something like that).

I finally took the "get rid of the ugly bulbs plunge" before photographing Key 741. I was happy to get more light for the photo but - wow- what a warm light it was!

I didn't want to go back to the ugly bulbs (what's that philosophy about only having things in your house that are beautiful and spark joy?) so I ended up going to the store and buying some 100 watt "daylight" bulbs. It was much brighter. I'm pretending that it's brighter than the original "ugly light" bulbs. I think it is actually. Even though you can't really tell in the photos.
