Sometimes There Are No Answers: Keys 2632 - 2635
I’ve been busy contemplating life, working at my day job, and embracing my artist residency at Saskatoon Makerspace. The residency (which began at the end of April and runs to October) has been a tremendous gift that is going by all too quickly. I will likely blog about what’s been going on at the residency but for now here are a few more keys to propel me to my 5000 key goal:
I really do have a soft spot for these little and seemingly simple keys (although this one did take quite a few extra tries with the resin to get it “right”).
Luckily for me my coworker gifted me some treasures when she cleaned out her jewelry box. I made this key for her from some of her treasures as a thank you.
As part of my residency I have good fortune to take some of the many classes Saskatoon Makerspace offers. One of the first classes I took was on the laser cutter. Not only did I learn to use the laser cutter, I also learned to use Adobe Illustrator. I’m proud of myself that I created this coaster with two keys totally from scratch. I know its not as fancy as clip art or what an accomplished Adobe Illustrator user could do but still I’m happy with it.
And some things in life aren’t clear and sometimes there are no answers - or at least not any guarantee “right” answers.
